Choose the 1400 JPY set and was disappointed given the others good review. Wasabi was way too much and strong, thus overpowering the sushi taste.

Ordered the seafood bowl - 海鮮丼 and its really good. Im allergic to the sea urchin and they swapped it, so make sure to tel what you are allergic to (if any). Seafood is fresh and tastes really good. Would definitely come back. There is a line during meal time, so coming is always better.

There's a reason why there's a long queue for this place. The kaisen seafood donburi is very impressive and the quality of the seafood is very good.

The tuna bowl was life-changing!Expect VERY long lines for here! We arrived about 11:30, and waited close to an hour, well worth the wait!

Managed to catch this shop for an early dinner before it closes for the day. Very very good. Much better than the other store we had nearby.

Nice taste

Favorite restaurant in Kanazawa. Amazing food all day. Great sake selection. Kind, patient staff. Personally, I suspect most of the negative reviews are a foreign lack of experience with good, Japanese food. This restaurant is absolutely exemplary.

Good sushi place. But be extra careful with your manner and everything, because they don’t seem like welcoming foreigners much. But everything else was fine, great sushi presentation.

Fish not so fresh but the staff are nice.

Must order the signature 海鮮丼! So nicely presented and tastes so good and fresh . 3000 yen for the donburi is of very good deal . Was originally worry about the long queue but turn out i just need to wait for less than 15 minutes . A good pick inside the seafood market .

Visited at 12:00 on Sunday. Wait time 1 hour. I ate seafood rice bowl 3000 yen. It was delicious!

Sushi was pretty good

They lined up in the morning. It is the first order somehow 30 minutes before opening. There are more tourists than locals. As there are not many places open from morning, it is saved.The large tori of Nigiri is thick and has a good eating response. Other nigiri are delicious as such.There is no soup, so it is a separate order, but only miso soup.

Fish bone found in sushi. No any service, it is the worst restaurant I went during 5 years when I traveled to Japan. Not accept paying for separately, really bad service without any smile which is rare in japan.

Fresh, greatly quality sushi. Tried the 3000yen sushi and 3000yen kaisendon. Quite value for money. Not mindblowing but good nonetheless. Came on a weekday 4.30pm and barely no one was inside. May come back again but not with a queue.

Kaisendon was very good. Fish was very fresh. A great place to try the local fish varieties.

Kaisen-don had a wide variety of fresh fish, I was really pleased with it. Be prepared to wait during lunch hours.

The 10 piece sushi menu is worth the price. I recommend tasting the sushi without soy sayce to feel the taste of the good quality fish.

I went to Saturday 1030. It was almost impossible to line up. When I passed again at noon, the situation of waiting in a queue of about 3 rows was good at an early stage. The seafood bowl was fresh and the taste was very good. It is a bit disappointing that the man's eyes are raised, the rice is scarce, and the back side of the salmon earns space with scallop shells and salmon shells. However, it was a shop that I would like to recommend because there are many kinds of ingredients and nodoguro.

It was very delicious, but the price was too high. I can only think of it as a tourist price.I wonder if you can eat more delicious seafood bowl in Tokyo at this price.In the first place there was no atmosphere or service that was worth the price.

Long line at 9.30am, but the sushi bowl for 3000 yen was mind-blowing and would totally do it again next time im in kanazawa. Come early!

Say no more!! Take my money!!

Freshness of fish slices and the quality of it was just only fair. They were not tender nor juicy. Not high quality one. Quality standard was far behind Tsukiji Market.

This was ok.. the food was pretty but not the freshest 🐟. (which kanazawa is famous for) mostly for Instagram photos

I received 3,000 yen specially. I immediately noticed that seafood bowl was better. I am always impressed when I come to Kanazawa, but the story is really good. Nevertheless, I thought it should have been seafood bowl. There were few people lined up because of the influence of corona and I put it in at 11:00.
